The SPL program for PC
The SPL program is intended for reading, for editing and recording of data files in the memory plug-in module (SMP), for reception and editing of read-in data from a punched tape and data retention in files of the personal computer, such as IBM PC.
Data exchange with the memory plug-in module (SMP) and with punched tapes is carry out through the data preparation unit (UPD). Data exchange with the memory plug-in module (SMP) also can be carried out through the electronic data reader (USE), established on NC. Communication of the computer with UPD is carried out by means of standard RS-232C channel. Communication of the computer with USE is carried out by means of standard RS-232C channel. In the presence of FACIT device the reading of punched tape can be carried out directly from it, using RS-232C interface of the personal computer. The information in the memory plug-in module registers in the form of the project which can contain one or several separate binary files of control routines (CR), placed on the punched tapes before or prepared by means of any CAD systems.
